Bubbles and Chocolate Cake

Grandma Orme came and spent the weekend last week because Grandpa Orme was away and Charlie was working nights. Grandma brought Chocolate Cake and a Bubble Maker with her - WOOOHOOOO!!!!

Here are some pictures of our backyard, doing various things. We have recently layed a concrete slab because we are getting a water tank. Charlie has also almost finished Jade's new and improved sandpit which will be fun for her. There is also a picture of Jade's new swing set that we got her with her birthday money - mind you it has been raining so much lately (Brisbane??-raining?Cool hah!) that she hasn't used it too much yet. Jade Birthday Party

The Brown's through a lovely first birthday party for Jade in Auckland. It was also a good chance to catch up with some of the family.

Auckland Zoo

We wanted to take Jade to Auckland Zoo on her first birthday, but it ws rained out so we took her the next day - it was still a little rainy at times but she really enjoyed it - we were amazed at how interested she was in the animals - I think her favourites were the birds and the fish!!!

Waiheke Island

Our trip to Waiheke Island. It is a very beautiful place and Adam and I decided that if we win the lotto we will definately by a holiday house there!

Well I know I have been very VERY slack with this website, but I would like to impart some of the blame on Adam for always hogging the computer with his games (that's what husbands are for aren't they - to blame stuff on). Anyway, I am about to do several blogs in a row to catch up and then I promise I will update more regularly.
