Backyard Fun!

Camping!

The car all loaded up for our first family camping trip. We went to Thunderbird Park at Mount Tamborine - not far from home but far enough for our first trip. We all really enjoyed it and are keen to find some more camping places good for kids and dogs. All set up!
Gone walkabout!
Back at the campsite.
Feeding the birds (in the front of the photo).

Tormenting the Birdie

Jade is obsessed with Grandma's bird Eddie. As soon as we arrive it's "Bird, bird, bird" and she goes straight to the table and climbs up and talks to him. Here are some funny photos of her doing that.

Ladders

Jade played with this ladder for ages, climbing up and through, sitting down and lowering herself down, then around the back to start again, and again and again..............................

Cookie Time

Jade munching on a cookie that Daddy bought home for her. She would absolutely be a junkfood kid if we let her!

A Day at Nudgee Beach

Today we took Jade and Bear to Nudgee beach to have a play. It was nearly high tide which left only about 2 metres of sand between the wall and the water. This only meant it took no time at all for Jade to run straight into the water, clothes and all. It's lucky we had a spare set of clothes, she's such a water baby.

A little monkey was found in a tree.

Jades loves sitting in the water and watching the waves coming towards her.

Having a ride on Mummy's shoulders.

I can also walk on my own.

Dont forget about me!!!

Currumbin Swell Sculpture Festival

Jade, Aunty Panda and I went down for a nosey at this festival on the beach with all different sculptures along the esplanade - there were heaps more cool ones but my batteries ran out (very organised). My favourite one was a kind of blue metal sculpture of an old skinny naked man holding a baby in one hand a rusty fish in the other hand - didn't get a picture though - doh!!! Anyways, Jade liked the blue-pot-octopus thing the best.

Crazy Critters

Here are a few pictures of Jade playing at Crazy Critters.

Grandma Orme came and spent the weekend last week because Grandpa Orme was away and Charlie was working nights. Grandma brought Chocolate Cake and a Bubble Maker with her - WOOOHOOOO!!!!
