Went to Daisy Hill Forest for a bit of a nosey. We were there while the air-con guy was at our house cooling it down - YAY!!!!! No more sleepless days for Charlie after night shift and no more sweating all day for Jade and I. Oh yeah, did I mention it was really hot at Daisy Hill!

We headed up to Redcliffe this week with Grandma and Grandpa along for the trip. We went for our usual stroll, had a packed lunch at a nice picnic bench near the water and stopped for a play. Jade had her first swim in the ocean. She kicked and splashed a lot. Bear had a swim too.
Here are some pictures with Karolyn, Kaitlyn & Annabelle (Jade & my best girlfriends!). The first one is from back in July and then their place a few weeks ago and our place the other day.

We went to the beach yesterday, once again after being so hot it was a bit windy and a bit cooler but still was nice. We went to the Spit at Southport. Bear and Charlie went for a swim (was too cold for Jade and I). Bear had good fun running around and we had a good walk. Jade was very smiley and chatty so I think she likes the beach!
On Thursday the four of us (Adam, Katie, Jade & Bear) headed out to Wellington Point for a nosey. We had a bit of a play in the playground (where Bear & Adam played "Dodgem Swings"), went for a walk on a bush track, and had some fish and chips under some big ol' fig trees by the water. Nice Day.

I am starting this blog for my daughter Jade, inspired by our kiwi friends - the Hilliards and their little dude Nathan. I think it is great for relies and friends far away (eg.nz & perth) to see how little Jade (and the rest of us) are going. Anyways, so Jade was born in June this year. She is now 4 and a half months old and heaps of fun. She is a very happy, smiley baby most of the time. She has just recently scored a couple of teeth. Apart from that life is great. Here are a few piccies!
